The Naturopathic Clinic at Bear Root Apothecary is looking for a medical provider (Naturopath, or Holistic Medical Doctor Nurse Practitioner) to join our practice. We currently have 2 Naturopaths with distinct practices: Dr. Dawn “Ari” Reardon, who focuses exclusively on mental health and holistic psychiatry, and Dr. Anna Sitkoff, who focuses on Primary Care and is a well known speaker and author on Medicinal Mushrooms. We also have a massage and sound therapy services from Velda Thomas, LMP.

What's your passion area or specialty?
We are specifically looking for a practitioner who is differentiated enough from both practitioners who can either provide a new service of interest, new insurance contracts, or a procedure that would provide a useful service to the Port Townsend community, and may also include general care. A pain management type of practice or physical medicine, injections, hormone therapy, longevity therapies, etc, could do very well here, but we are open to hear what you have in mind.

The clinic is connected to a public retail apothecary that has been in the community since the 1980s, and the clinic has been open for 7 years, so we are a known go-to health hub in town and on the Olympic Peninsula, and as a result we have daily referrals to the clinic from customers of the apothecary.

Our practitioners currently accept Regence, Premera, Lifewise, First Choice, and Ambetter insurance. The clinic provides scheduling, front desk staff, insurance billing, telehealth, rent, utilities, wi-fi, fax, management of lab and supplies, and a fully stocked apothecary with professional grade supplements and a bulk tincture dispensary with compounding of over 120 herbs. Treatment rooms are currently available part time or full time.

This is an independent-contractor clinic share position with 60% commission fee-split model.

In person or Remote Telemedicine services will be considered. Must be licensed in the state of Washington and follow telemedicine guidelines.

Required:

Minimum of 2 years clinical experience is preferred, and/or a unique practice area. Must be willing create a 15-20 minute Webinar or make a public talk or demonstration monthly to build your practice and presence in the community. We have a large email base and people are very willing to try out a new practitioner once they've seen you, met you or heard you speak.
