The Promise of Homeopathy: Embracing our vitalistic tradition to help ourselves and our patients (including an introduction to analysis using Cycles and Segments), with a specific focus on anxiety and burnout

Core principles of naturopathic medicine embrace the tradition of vitalism, as well as the healing power of nature, treating the whole person, and addressing the underlying causes of illness. Using individualized, whole-person medicine is an ideal way to offer patients enduring and effective health care. Homeopathy exemplifies a profoundly holistic approach to treating our patients, where physical, cognitive, and emotional elements are appreciated and addressed. We will present an introduction to the basics of homeopathic case taking and analysis from our Cycles and Segments perspective, and use the topic of anxiety and burnout to illustrate the power and efficacy of homeopathic care within naturopathic medicine practice. Burnout, anxiety, and associated syndromes are very common diagnoses which are becoming increasingly evident in younger generations and can include troubling psychological and physical symptoms resulting in both short and long-term disability.
