Move beyond the known techniques of self-care to heal the root causes of burn out. We all know that physicians are experiencing high rates of burn out as we enter our 3rd year of dealing with the COVID pandemic. Self-care techniques largely address behavioral aspects of burn out and are not long-term solutions. Lasting change occurs when you act in alignment with your personal motivation for doing this work. Discover how to access a limitless source of renewal within yourself.

This is the 2nd of 4 sessions in this series - each of which will be comprised of a short talk, a meditation, and suggested follow-up questions for personal development. Each theme will build on the previous session, but each session is designed to be effective on its own.

March Theme: Connect to your balanced heart space to build your vision of your career

Many people who are drawn to this work have a deep desire to be of help. The choice to be of service to others is often found in one aspect of the heart, while another place within the heart space holds a larger vision for what you personally need to bring into the world. Honoring both aspects will allow you to clarify and define your personal vision for how to shape your career in the current environment so that it is aligned with your deepest purpose.

Meditation: Find harmony by integrating the wisdom found within two powerful spaces within the heart.
