Move beyond the known techniques of self-care to heal the root causes of burn out. We all know that physicians are experiencing high rates of burn out as we enter our 3rd year of dealing with the COVID pandemic. Self-care techniques largely address behavioral aspects of burn out and are not long-term solutions. Lasting change occurs when you act in alignment with your personal motivation for doing this work. Discover how to access a limitless source of renewal within yourself.

This is the 3rd of 4 sessions in this series - each of which will be comprised of a short talk, a meditation, and suggested follow-up questions for personal development. Each theme will build on the previous session, but each session is designed to be effective on its own.

May Theme: Discover how to move your career vision forward by acting in alignment with the totality of your inner wisdom

Aligning personal values and making choices about how to carry your personal vision of your career forward can be challenged by external sources that may not truly recognize the value of your contributions. The key to shifting this pattern is to listen to the deep knowing that key wisdom areas of the body hold so that your decisions are in alignment with the totality of your being. Go deeper than the gut and brain connection to gain a richer knowledge base to determine what is right for you.

Meditation: Discover the wisdom your body holds in 5 essential areas to carry your personal vision forward
