Move beyond the known techniques of self-care to heal the root causes of burn out. We all know that physicians are experiencing high rates of burn out as we enter our 3rd year of dealing with the COVID pandemic. Self-care techniques largely address behavioral aspects of burn out and are not long-term solutions. Lasting change occurs when you act in alignment with your personal motivation for doing this work. Discover how to access a limitless source of renewal within yourself.

This is the final of 4 sessions in this series - each of which will be comprised of a short talk, a meditation, and suggested follow-up questions for personal development. Each theme will build on the previous session, but each session is designed to be effective on its own.

October Theme: Create balance rather than boundaries

With the busy holiday season approaching, applying how to stay connected to your personal motivation and vision for doing this work can become challenged. Learn a streamlined method to replace thinking about establishing boundaries with learning how to create balance by acknowledging the other person’s want while saying yes to your needs.

Meditation: Unfold your personal source of creative strength to give voice to your needs
