ISM Health | Hormone Health and IV Therapy | Downtown Bothell, Washington
In-clinic position
Are you a naturopathic physician who enjoys complex care, particularly hormone health and IV therapy, and wants the autonomy to develop your own clinical style within a collaborative team?
ISM Health is seeking a warm, proactive Naturopathic Physician to join our growing practice. Two of our physicians who focus on hormone health are currently inundated with patients, and demand for IV therapy is also exceeding our capacity. Both physicians are expected to begin maternity leave in January 2027, so we hope to hire and train the right person as soon as possible.
This immediate need is part of a larger vision for the continued growth of our clinic. We are looking for someone who wants to become a lasting part of our team and build a meaningful practice here.
If you value clinical autonomy but do not want to practice in isolation, you may feel at home at ISM. Our physicians have the freedom to develop their own clinical interests and create individualized treatment plans using herbs, supplements, IV therapy, medications, and other appropriate approaches while remaining true to the healing principles of naturopathic medicine.
That freedom is supported by genuine collaboration: our physicians consult with one another on complex cases, refer to one another, and share their experience as each clinician builds confidence and evolves their own style of practice. This is especially valuable for someone early in their career, but the exchange of knowledge benefits experienced physicians as well.
You will also be encouraged to bring forward new ideas, offer feedback, and help shape how the clinic grows, knowing that your voice will be heard. With approachable leadership, supportive colleagues, and a resourceful, proactive front-office team, you will have support when you need it. We also offer flexible scheduling, time for vacations and conferences, fair compensation, and genuine respect for work-life balance. ISM combines the personal connection of a small community clinic with the resources of a larger practice.
About the role
You will provide individualized naturopathic care to adults and older adolescents; we do not currently provide pediatric care. A major focus will be supporting patients with thyroid and adrenal concerns, PCOS, perimenopause, and female sex-hormone concerns while also helping meet demand for IV therapy.
You do not need to arrive with deep expertise in hormone health, but you must be genuinely interested in this area and motivated to learn through mentorship, study, and clinical experience. IV therapy experience or certification is required.
Core responsibilities include:
- Providing naturopathic primary-care visits, hormone-focused care, wellness visits, and physical examinations
- Providing IV therapy and performing blood draws when the clinic phlebotomist is unavailable
- Reviewing laboratory results and responding to portal messages for your patients
- Completing chart notes the same day and submitting claims through our EHR clearinghouse
- Tracking your clinical numbers and alerting the office manager when clinical or IV supplies run low
- Contributing to the organization and smooth operation of shared clinical spaces
- Our front-office, operations, and billing teams handle most administrative logistics, claim corrections, and follow-up so physicians can focus primarily on patient care. If you are not yet credentialed with our insurance plans, we will assist with the process.
Schedule
The position will begin part-time, with room to expand as your patient panel grows. We are open to shaping the long-term schedule around the needs of the clinic and the right candidate.
We accommodate conferences, continuing education, vacations, and personal commitments whenever possible. In return, we ask for reliability and early communication when plans change. Because this is an in-clinic role, we prefer someone local to Bothell, although commitment matters more than commute time.
About ISM Health
At ISM Health, we are especially passionate about helping patients who have fallen through the cracks. Many come to us with complex presentations, feeling unheard or with concerns that have never been fully untangled. Our approach begins with listening and validation, then moves toward practical, stepwise care grounded in current evidence.
We sit intentionally in the middle of the naturopathic spectrum: neither exclusively conventional nor reflexively alternative. We value evidence-based care, clinical discernment, and thoughtful open-mindedness. Physicians have the freedom to recommend appropriate integrative treatments without pressure to practice according to a rigid model or promote therapies that conflict with their clinical judgment.
ISM Health is an insurance-based integrative clinic in downtown Bothell. Our four physicians currently provide general naturopathic and metabolic care, wellness and physical examinations, women's and hormone health, IV therapy, biofeedback and mindfulness, craniosacral therapy, and other physical-medicine and bodywork techniques.
