Andrew Rife, ND is the founder of Puget Sound Family Health and has spent nearly 30 years building a collaborative, community-centered practice that integrates naturopathic and conventional medicine. His work emphasizes partnership among providers, patients, and healthcare systems to improve community health.
Dr. Rife practices full-spectrum family medicine, caring for patients from infants through hospice. In recent years, his clinical focus has expanded to include reproductive medicine, mental health, and metabolic health. He has a particular interest in blood sugar regulation, nutrition, inflammation, gut-brain health, stress physiology, and bioidentical hormone balance, and he regularly speaks on the relationship between metabolic health and psychiatric symptoms.
Originally trained as an architect and carpenter, Dr. Rife brings a systems-based, problem-solving approach to medicine, driven by a passion for helping patients achieve meaningful and sustainable transformation. He believes diet is foundational to health and is known in the community for his food-focused, root-cause approach to complex and chronic conditions.
Outside of practice, Dr. Rife has traveled extensively, lived abroad, and brings a global and compassionate perspective to his work. His guiding principle, both personally and professionally, is kindness.
