Dr. Ashley Baker is a naturopathic physician completing her first year of residency at Seattle Integrative Oncology, where she provides evidence-informed, compassionate care to individuals navigating cancer and chronic illness. She earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in June 2024 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition Sciences with an emphasis in Dietetics from Seattle Pacific University.
Before pursuing naturopathic medicine, Dr. Baker worked with residential eating disorder patients, supporting women and children in rebuilding a balanced relationship with food and body through nutrition-focused care. This experience deepened her passion for therapeutic nutrition and the connection between nourishment, healing, and self-compassion.
Dr. Baker’s clinical philosophy centers on addressing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—through an integrative approach that blends modern medical knowledge with natural therapeutics. She is deeply committed to providing culturally responsive care and is a strong advocate for health equity. Her professional interests include therapeutic nutrition, integrative oncology, and advancing healthcare accessibility for Indigenous and LGBTQ+ communities.
Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Baker finds balance through gardening, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her chocolate lab, Bodhi. She draws inspiration from nature, community, and her heritage, all of which inform her approach to healing and patient care.
