Dr. Kunz was born in Indianapolis, IN and grew up on an organic, dairy farm where her passion for health and preventative medicine started. She graduated from DePauw University and received her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from a 4 year, accredited naturopathic medical program at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, OR.
She enjoys working with a wide range of patients who are motivated to take their health into their own hands. Her areas of interest include cardiovascular and metabolic health, as well as lifestyle medicine.
In addition to having her own practice, She is a Clinical Content Development Coordinator at the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), the global leader in functional medicine education and training. At IFM, Dr. Kunz supports the production of courses and conferences. This allows her to stay up to date in the latest functional medicine research and work alongside some of the best functional medicine practitioners in the field. She manages a variety of projects and programs that are a part of the certification path for practitioners, including the Cardiometabolic Advanced Practice Module and Bioenergetics Advanced Practice Module.
In her free time, Dr. Kunz enjoys running, cooking, traveling, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
