I've dedicated my life to medicine since I was eight years old, when I lost my great-grandmother, who was one of my all-time favorite people, to throat cancer. That loss lit a fire in me to understand healing more deeply.
I earned a BA in Human Ecology from the College of the Atlantic, studying Anthropology, Botany, and Ethnobotany, and interned with the Amazon Conservation Team studying shamanic and rainforest medicine. That work led me to an advanced degree in medical massage therapy from the Utah College of Massage Therapy, focusing on medical, injury, prenatal, and infant massage and I've been practicing massage since 2001. I went on to earn my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in 2008, with additional training in pediatrics and neonatal care, and have taught at both Bastyr and at the Academy for Oriental Medicine in Austin, TX.
I now practice as an independent practitioner out of Vitae Health Center in Lynnwood, WA, combining physical and holistic medicine to help my patients find lasting health. Outside of my practice, I love time in the forest and at the beach with my family, cooking, gardening, and creating art.
