I often get asked, “As a naturopathic doctor, what do you do for [insert every diagnosis imaginable]?” The answer 99% of the time is: “well…it depends on the person.” That’s the beauty of Naturopathic medicine, our toolbox is extensive and has a full spectrum of options. Where one person may need nutritional counseling and bodywork, another needs medicinal herbs and nutrients, while yet another just needs a vacation and time to explore their passions. (I could argue that the last option applies to everyone.) I consider my practice as a naturopathic physician an art form, I’m a strategist for your well-being, collaborating with you to find the root cause of your dis-ease and coming up with a plan to address that cause that fits into your life.
Life as medicine is my passion. I believe that life is medicine and a big focus of your life [medicine] for optimal health is the foundations of health:
Water. Good food. Sleep. Movement.
This may seem simple, but these four foundations are often the hardest medicine for my patients to “swallow.” My job as your physician is to provide the support needed for you to live life to your fullest capacity. As a naturopathic physician I am able to combine my passion for foundational health along with traditional naturopathic treatments and cutting-edge, science-based medical technology and research to provide the best that medicine today has to offer. I look forward to collaborating with you on the journey towards your optimal health.
