Dr. Peng specializes in holistic and integrative psychiatry. She provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management as well as naturopathic assessments and complementary care for chronic medical conditions. Dr. Peng works with adults (ages 18 and above).
I approach health and healing from a holistic perspective, taking into account physical, mental, emotional, and social factors. I believe mental and physical health are intimately connected and the presence of illness in either realm reflects an imbalance in the health of the whole person. Mental illness can affect physical health by both changing our physiology and affecting our ability to practice healthy lifestyle habits. Similarly, chronic medical conditions can have a significant impact on our mental and emotional well-being.
I believe the body, mind, and spirit have an innate ability to heal if given the right supports, just like a plant can flourish if provided with the right amounts of nutrients, sunlight, and water. In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients to optimize the foundations of health and address mental and physical health concerns. My approach is comprehensive and integrative and includes advanced lifestyle modifications, natural treatments, and medications. My goal is to empower clients with the knowledge and tools necessary to take ownership of your health and improve well-being. I look forward to walking alongside you in your health journey.
