Dr. Tasmin Wilhelm is a board certified Naturopathic Physician in both Washington and Arizona, first receiving her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Western Washington University before going on to earn her doctorate from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ. She has extensive training in general medicine and enjoys treating the whole family – from earaches to menopause.
Dr. Wilhelm’s journey into medicine has been deeply inspired by her grandfather, who was a beloved family practice MD and served as an inspiration and role model to many. His holistic approach to patient care and his willingness to embrace naturopathic as well as allopathic medical options made her an early advocate of integrative medicine and close doctor-patient relationships.
Dr. Wilhelm uses a variety of natural therapies to form an individualized plan for each patient based on their health goals, finding the treatment modalities that best fit not only the disease but also the person. Dr. Wilhelm is enthusiastic about helping people on their journey towards achieving optimal health and living happier, healthier lives. She strives to educate, cultivate awareness, and provide her patients with the tools needed to become dedicated advocates of their own health and well-being.
Dr. Wilhelm strongly believes that an integrative, multi-disciplinary approach provides the best results and therefore blends both conventional and natural medicines. She collaborates with other physicians and alternative healthcare practitioners in order to ensure her patients are receiving the best care possible. She is dedicated to maintaining currency in her field in order to prescribe the most effective therapies and treatment plans for her patients.
When Dr. Wilhelm is not helping you, she can often be found taking a spinning class, curled up reading a good book, or enjoying a glass of wine while visiting with family. On an especially wonderful day, she is camping, hiking, and boating the beautiful Northwest with her dog Lincoln.
