In this second talk in our Pediatrics mini-series, we will look at and discuss what is happening to our teens and even young kids during this pandemic; how mental health challenges are surfacing for them; what we may be seeing and managing in clinical practice in terms of mental health, schooling, impacts on family life and resources, and issues of equity and disparity.

Speaker Bio: Dr. Sunita Iyer has been in clinical practice as a midwife and naturopathic physician and has served as a graduate level educator for over 12 years at Bastyr University and the University of Washington. Teaching is her passion in the clinical, classroom, online, and patient care arenas. Her background and primary professional interests have been women's and pediatric health, with a particular interest in pediatric and perinatal mental health. She is also the Founder and Clinical Director of an integrative family medicine clinic, Eastside Natural Medicine, that serves as a teaching clinic and a site for an accredited primary care residency program.
