Fascial Counterstrain (FCS) has taken physical medicine to an entirely new level with its incredibly powerful, multi-system approach. No other modality addresses dysfunction with the same level of specificity and accuracy. FCS embraces every principal of naturopathic medicine. For these reasons, all naturopathic physicians deserve to learn about this impactful medical breakthrough.

Dr. Holly Christy started practicing medicine in 2000 and founded Element 7 Wellness in 2007. She co-founded the Bridge Back Project in October of 2017 where she is the principal investigator and head-of-impact. Dr. Christy is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker on the topic of Fascial Counterstrain.

“My passion is helping patients to reach their optimal potential by listening to their stories, and employing the tools I've learned in over 23 years of practice.”

Dr. Christy is a mastery-level practitioner and instructor of Fascial Counterstrain which is a physical medicine modality used to effectively restore function to the fascial systems of the body: Visceral, Neural, Cranial/Dural, Musculoskeletal, Vascular, and Adipose. She is an instructor for the Counterstrain Academy and the Jones Institute.
“Of all the modalities I’ve been exposed to in my career, Counterstrain is the most evolved and astoundingly powerful. Counterstrain is based in science and applied anatomy and physiology, and through it, we are able to reach inside the body and restore function with very little effort. One patient described it as ‘invisible surgery’ – an apt description for this outstanding technique.”

As a graduate and clinical adjunct faculty member of Bastyr University, she mentors medical students in their last years of medical school. As a naturopathic physician and acupuncturist, she uses modalities from Eastern and Western traditions to help her patients restore their health and achieve wellness.

A lifelong Washingtonian, Dr. Christy earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Washington, Master of Acupuncture from Northwest Institute of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, and Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University.

**This presentation is worth 1 Category 1 CE for Washington-licensed NDs.**
