When considering the topic of Longevity, regardless of the interventions considered, the effective exchange of biochemical information (nutrients, wastes, peptides, pharmaceuticals, chemical signals, etc) is fundamental to the success of the therapy and the desired outcome. This presentation will present a cellular model of longevity that, citing the current body of research, points to microcirculation, endothelial integrity, extracellular matrix functions, and cellular signaling as the key factors in promotion of Longevity. Interventions supporting this model will be explored from biophysical therapy (hydrotherapy, manual therapy, physiotherapy, etc), nutrition, and herbal medicines.
