The vital force and longevity of its patrons has been a concern of Ayurvedic physicians throughout the 5000 year history of Ayurveda. Its importance is conveyed by the fact that Ayurveda has attributed Longevity medicine as its own branch of healthcare practice. As a general rule, Ayurvedic treatments go through the cycle of removing the obstacles to healing, strengthening the weakened systems, optimizing the natural healing systems, and rejuvenating by optimizing foundations of health. These steps are outlined for every condition, as well as for the whole person.
This presentation will discuss the principles of healing and rejuvenation by organ system and the whole person. Attendees will be invited to practice breathwork together, and the talk will review lifestyle routines, recipes, and classical formulations for Rasayana that are adaptable and applied in any naturopathic clinic.
Growing up in India, Dr. Anup was immersed in the culture of Ayurveda and spirituality. This upbringing planted the seed of natural medicine that has sprouted into integrative Naturopathic-Ayurvedic practice at Natural Rhythms Ayurveda.
Dr. Anup completed undergraduate in Molecular and Cellular Biology as UC Santa Barbara in 2008. Then, completed a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University in 2013. Through this time Dr. Anup also completed Counselor and Practitioner certification in Ayurveda from Kerala Ayurveda Academy.
He has been offering integrative Ayurvedic-Naturopathic in his medical practice since 2014. Ayurveda offers an ideal model for individualized functional medicine. Dr. Anup specializes in management chronic diseases. Honoring Ayurvedic perspective, He believes healing is as much a spiritual process as it is physical undertaking. Thus, he empowers his clients with knowledge of their Ayurvedic constitution, complimentary diet, lifestyle, breath work, spiritual routines, and more. Dr. Anup also specializes in offering classical Ayurvedic herbal formulations and traditional Ayurvedic therapies, including Panchakarma in his practice in Seattle, WA.
