Did you know that about 1 in 35 people are autistic? We often think of autism in young white boys. However, autism affects girls and women, adults, and minorities. In this presentation we will discuss how to recognize autism in your patients and screen for autism. You will learn to recognize high masking autism, add autistic burnout to your differential diagnosis for fatigue, and support autistic patients. Lastly, we will discuss ways to make your practice more neurodiversity affirming.
