The WANP is thrilled to partner once again with the Seattle/King County Clinic to spread awareness and recruit volunteers for this annual FREE healthcare event. This year's clinic will take place at the Seattle Center from Thursday, February 15, through Sunday, February 18, 2024, and volunteer registration is officially open as of today.
"Seattle/King County Clinic brings together healthcare organizations, civic agencies, non-profits, private businesses and volunteers from across the State of Washington to produce a giant free health clinic at Seattle Center. The four-day volunteer-driven clinic provides free dental, vision and medical care to anyone in the region who struggles to access and/or afford healthcare."
Each year, organizers reserve positions specifically for naturopathic primary care physicians during each shift, knowing how much patients value the option to access naturopathic medical care. While the number of spots reserved for our community is quite small, licensed naturopathic physicians can also sign up for other medical positions if desired. There is also a need for non-medical volunteers to help set up, tear down, direct patients and volunteers, and provide general administrative support (attention current medical students and other supporters!).
