Dr. Menzer is a two-time cancer survivor and personally knows the value of holistic, integrative care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Psychology from UC Davis and her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University. Dr. Menzer believes that her role as a Naturopathic Physician is fundamentally to listen first, ask questions second, and provide patients with a variety of treatment strategies. She rarely uses cookie-cutter “protocols” because no two patients are the same. Every treatment plan must be tailored to an individual’s personal story, beliefs, resources, and values.
Dr. Menzer is a Health At Every Size (HAES) practitioner with advanced specialty training in women’s health, gastrointestinal health, pediatrics, eating disorders, allergies, heavy metal toxicity, integrative cancer care, and trauma-informed care.
Dr. Menzer served on the Board of Directors for the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians (WANP) for four years. She is currently adjunct faculty at the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine (SIEAM) where she teaches Western Clinical Medicine.
In her spare time, Dr. Menzer can be found swing dancing or playing outside with her husband, kid and American Eskimo direwolf.
