Join our Board!

The WANP's Board of Directors is a dynamic group of Washington-licensed naturopathic physicians who are passionate about our profession and our medicine and who want to contribute to the advancement of both in Washington State (and beyond). Our Board is composed of 9-13 volunteers who work together to manage the Association, advance its mission, and ensure its growth and success. The Board is supported by a full time Executive Director and a part time Operations Coordinator.

Our professional Directors are elected by our professional membership to 2-year terms and our Student Representative is elected by our student membership to a 1-year term; all terms begin on September 1. Terms are intentionally staggered to ensure some continuity in the oversight of our organization. Per our organizational bylaws, we hold elections every summer to seat our Board in the fall.

This year, we have 7 of 12 professional Director positions open, plus our student representative position. We are actively seeking passionate individuals who are committed to the mission and vision of the WANP to join our Board. We recognize that diversity is an important aspect to life, to our profession, and to innovative group work, so anyone who feels underrepresented in our profession in general or in our organization in particular is encouraged to run for our Board.
