Practice Description

People experiencing chronic conditions (newly diagnosed or having for any length of time), people wanting to avoid or reduce pharmaceutical treatment or learn about other treatment options, and those that consider themselves in good health and are looking for preventative guidance are ideal patients. As a naturopathic primary care provider, I see a range of conditions. Focusing on the foundations of health and customizing a treatment plan geared toward your health goals is paramount at One LIfe Naturopathic.

Insurance Information

At this time, the states of California and Minnesota do not provide insurance coverage for naturopathic visits. However, patients can request superbills and submit them to their individual insurance providers, so it may be worth checking in with your specific provider.

Flexible health spending account funds (FSA, HSA) can be used for payment. This is a pretax payment option many patients take advantage of.

Doctor Bio

Dr. Shari Jainuddin is a licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor with a focus on primary care medicine and is Board Certified in Biofeedback. She sees patients of all ages and identities, addressing both acute and chronic conditions. In addition to these credentials, she has also trained in Craniosacral Therapy (CST) and visceral manipulation and offers these gentle, yet profound treatment options.

Dr. Jainuddin earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Smith College as an Ada Comstock Scholar and conducted research at the Feil Family Brain & Mind Institute at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York for five years and has authored several scientific publications. She received her doctorate degree from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington and is currently practicing in California and Minnesota.

Before pursuing higher education, she had a career in IT, and is the first in her family to receive a college degree. Midwest farm life provided her with strong community values and work ethics. As a former dancer, she has a passion for the mind-body connection. Dr. Jainuddin moved to the Coachella Valley for a residency and quickly realized her soul’s connection to the desert and made the decision to stay and start her own practice.

She cherishes connecting with people from all backgrounds and meeting them where they are at in their life journey as they work towards health. Docere, doctor as teacher, is a main pillar of her practice, focusing on educating her patients, empowering them in their healthcare decisions and goals.
